Lake Nebagamon resident, Katy Hursh, elected to District 106 Toastmasters Leadership

Lake Nebagamon, WI, June 1st, 2022 - Lake Nebagamon resident, Katy Hursh, elected to District 106 Toastmasters Leadership.

Katy was elected to Club Growth Director for District 106 Toastmasters. Katy has served in various District
leadership roles including Division A Director.

Katy is a graduate of Idaho State University in Bachelor of Arts- Psychology/ English. She is currently serving as the City Treasurer in Lake Negabamon, WI. She has earned the Toastmasters Triple Crown award multiple times. The Triple Crown is an award given to a Toastmaster who completes three awards in the Toastmasters program.

"Serving people and adding value to others is important to me. Making time to develop relationships is a vital element to success. Life is short to not invest in the people we have been entrusted with. When people know you care about them, they will care too." says Katy.

Katy's vision is to equip local community clubs by providing the tools and training they need. She plans to improve how officer training is done and district communication. Through collaboration in the district and with regional leaders, Katy believes that members will benefit in a more productive way.

Katy Hursh is a member of two Toastmasters clubs: Duluth Club, and Saturday Morning Live Club.

About the Club Growth Director Position
