Artisan Kitchen is excited to announce it will be opening a new location in the Olympic Plaza at 506 North 12th Street in Murray, KY. Renovations on the location will be beginning shortly, with an opening date scheduled for mid to late summer. Long time restaurant partners, David Jones and Karla Lawrence who also own Shandies Restaurant in downtown Paducah, are partnering with Chef Sara Watkins of Hazel, KY to open the establishment. Artisan Kitchen of Paducah opened in 2003 and has established a reputation for high quality and creative food and desserts. Artisan Kitchen has four major aspects to its business. First is the café which offers a creative assortment of sandwiches, salads and wraps along with creative specials. Second is the corporate and private catering ranging from the simple and casual to the most formal of events and weddings. Third is desserts, wedding cakes, and specialty designer cakes. And fourth is the made from scratch, home meal replacement offerings. Chef Sara Watkins brings a new specialty to the table with her love of breads and pastries.
