Fireworks are at dusk on July 3rd! The Hydro Manager at the Georgia Power Land Department
wanted to let everyone know that
they can not allow anyone but
Fire Department/Emergency personnel and Georgia Power
authorized personnel through the gate
on the Georgia side on Bartlett's Ferry Road this year.
This is due to SAFETY CONCERNS. Extra vehicles and people make it impossible for the Emergency Vehicles to get through the gate in the event of an emergency.
If you want to watch the fireworks from land, you will need to arrange to go to a friend's house or go to Po Boy's Landing on the Alabama side.
